You may use this site to learn about our services and to ask us for an estimate. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, submit false or automated requests, or use it in a way that breaks the law. We may refuse service to anyone who does.
The text, photographs, and design on this site belong to GVK Heating & Air Inc. You are welcome to link to us. Please do not copy the content for use on another business's site.
Service requests and estimates
Submitting the form on this site is a request, not a booking. It does not create a contract and does not reserve a time. We will contact you to discuss what you need and to arrange a visit.
Any price we quote before seeing the equipment is an estimate based on what you told us. Heating and air conditioning work regularly turns up conditions that cannot be seen from a description: hidden damage, undersized ductwork, corroded line sets, or code requirements from an earlier installation. The final price is the one we give you after inspecting the system, in writing, before work begins.
Information on this site about equipment, efficiency ratings, rebates, and manufacturer warranties is offered in good faith and can change without notice. Rebate and incentive programs are run by third parties on their own terms.

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages from GVK Heating & Air Inc, including responses to your inquiries, appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates about your service. You can give us your number through the form on this site, by texting our business number, or by telling us on the phone or at your door.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Say no and we will call you instead, at no disadvantage to you and at the same price. Reply STOP at any time and the messages end.
There is no subscription and no recurring list. When your job is finished, the messages stop on their own.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your job. A typical service visit involves a few messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving text messages, according to your plan. We do not charge for our messages.

Telephone calls and the AI receptionist
Calls to (619) 277-6279 may be answered by an AI receptionist rather than by a person. It takes down what you need so that we can call you back and schedule the work.
Calls answered by the AI receptionist are recorded and transcribed. It says so at the start of the call, before you say anything, so that you can decide whether to continue. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and a person will call you back; those calls are not recorded.
Licensing, insurance, and warranties
GVK Heating & Air Inc holds California C-20 contractor license number 911659 and carries liability insurance. You are entitled to verify both, and we would rather you did: license status is public at the California Contractors State License Board.
Our workmanship is warranted as stated in the written agreement for your job. Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty on the manufacturer's terms, which we will explain and register for you but do not ourselves issue. Nothing on this website extends or replaces the terms of that written agreement.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided as it is. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or always online. To the fullest extent the law allows, GVK Heating & Air Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or from the text messaging described above.
Nothing here limits our responsibility for the work we actually perform on your system. That is governed by your written agreement with us and by California law, and we stand behind it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site or to message us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
